Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 475g ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- Tomato meat sauce
- Boil lasagna noodles in salted water for 1-2 minutes less than package suggests
- Drain noodles and stack on towels
- In bowl, stir together ricotta cheese and eggs
- In 13-inch x 9-inch (3L) baking dish, spread 1-11/2 cups of the meat sauce. Arrange 3 noodles over top; sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese. Top with 2-21/2 cups of the meat sauce, 3 noodles, ricotta mixture, 3 noodles, 2-21/2 cups of the meat sauce, 3 noodles, then remaining meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly
- Cover with tin foil. Bake at 375ºF (190ºC) in oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake until cheese is golden, for about 15 minutes. Loosely cover with foil and cool for 30 minutes before serving.
